Sisters, we began our new year with the Installation of Officers on June 29th, along with our Brothers of the 3rd Degree Council and 4th Degree Assembly. I thank all the newly elected Officers for stepping forth to serve with dignity for the coming term. We will commence with ideas to bring forth a productive and fruitful year. The Officers Elect held a planning meeting to organize an exciting Calendar of Events for the term of 2011-2012. The first event will be a Summer Sunday Brunch, at PIETRO'S on the RIVER, Hutchinson Island, on Sunday, July 17th., 11:00 AM, to 2:30 PM. Financial Secretary Marilyn Suriano has tickets to distribute to the members. Please plan on attending this affair to make it a social and financial success. Other plans will be finalized at our first meeting on September 22nd, 7:00 PM, as you, the members, may bring forth other ideas for our activities.
I congratulate Past President Ann Klose and her Officers for the many achievements gained during their term of 2010-2011. Our membership increased with members showing willingness to come forth with ideas and use their talents and treasures to keep the Auxiliary running. Thanks to ALL for your willingness and hard work.
Merritt Stevenson, our Editor, has recommended that I keep my message short as the next two editions will be condensed editions, so I will close with wishing all a Happy Independence Day on the Fourth of July and a healthy summer.
